His Royal Majesty, KING ADAMTEY I, also known in private life as Dr. Kingsley Fletcher, founded Life for Africa, Inc. (LFA) in 1999 to provide humanitarian support to the continent of Africa. While serving as Special Advisor to the Assistant Secretary General and Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)-Africa, he made strides in improving healthcare and education, broadening economic empowerment and enhancing Africa’s global technology.
Life for Africa is in a unique position to make this significant difference in the lives of the African people. KING ADAMTEY’S birthright and compassion prompted him to embark upon this vision. As a native son, his understanding of the culture, the needs of the people, social and political landscape enables LFA to maximize its efforts on the continent.
Africa has tremendous potential that has not been utilized. LFA outreach programs are opening great doors as well as providing the African people with sustainable skills and tools for the coming generations. LFA seeks to establish partnerships with individuals, for profit and not-for-profit organizations, to procure gifts/donations to enhance the quality of life for the people.
